Polyester monofilament extrusion is a melt spinning process where raw polyester granules are melted in an extruder and forced through a precision multi-hole die. The resulting molten strands are immediately quenched in a water bath to solidify, then dried and passed through high-speed godet rollers. These rollers stretch and orient the filaments in a heating zone or hot water bath to significantly enhance tensile strength.

Finally, the filaments are annealed to ensure dimensional stability before being wound on to individual spools or bobbins for use
